Increasing Number of Road Users Who Comply with PSBB Regulations in South Jakarta

The level of road users' compliance with the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations in South Jakarta is getting higher.

Hopefully, more people can comply with PSBB regulations

It is indicated by declining number of vehicle drivers who violate PSBB regulations at 3 checkpoints on the intersection of Jalan Pasar Jumat, Jalan Ciledug Raya, and Jalan Komjen Pol. Jasin.

More Road Users Comply with PSBB Regulations

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) Head, Budi Setiawan mentioned, based on data which collected on April 25-29, 2020, number of vehicles that violated PSBB regulations reached 293 units.

"On the first five days of PSBB, there are 2,320 violators, but on the next 10 days, it declines into around 200 violators," he informed, Wednesday (4/29).

According to him, violations on the road are still dominated by two-wheeled vehicles with total 117 units, then private cars with total 83 units, public transport fleets as many as 65 units, and last is freight vehicles as many as 28 units. While other type of violation committed is mostly motorists who don't wear face mask and gloves.

"It is the result of our hard work with assistance from TNI and Police. Hopefully, more people can comply with PSBB regulations," he closed.
